Hey guys,
I'm a bit tight on the budget, so need a good motherboard for around $60. Plus, please recommend a good 500W power supply as well,
Cheers.

i'd look at these two motherboards

http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-motherboard-h81ma

i'd go for the GIGABYTE one, 'cause for just a little more money you get all the benefits of the B85 chipset

as for the PSU,

I have used this PSU many times now and I've yet to see one of them fail, so I'm confident in recommending this psu

I don't tend to recommend MSI and ASRock, I've seen a lot of their motherboards fail... starting from back to the P67 days, I got burnt pretty bad by an FM2 ASRock board which cost me money to fix, so yeah, not good experiences with them, this is not to say, however, that everything they make is crap. Just saying though...

all depends on socket really and every company has a bad board or 2 in their locker, this board is fine for what the OP needs and it's at an affordable price.

anyway if he wants a slightly better board this one would be good:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B85M-DS3H Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($45.98 @ OutletPC)
Total: $45.98
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

essentially the same as the one you suggested but without crossfire support(which he cant use with nvidia cards anyway)
