GTX 750 Ti on a 255W PSU

I got a cheap PC and it has a

I5 750
R7 240 2GB
8GB RAM
235GB HDD
255W PSU

I was thinking of upgrading it with a GT 1030 because people say it can ru on a 255W psu,but i found really nice offers on some 750 Ti's and think of getting one,so do you think i could run it with my system? If that is ok I only need to worry about the space because there is a huge box where a fan is in the middle xD

By any chance are you running off a Dell OptiPlex system? That wattage is akin to one found in Dell's server units. If so then which model(and form factor) do you have? It's suggested to have at least 350W at your entire system's disposal but I would say it's possible, seeing you currently have a R7 240 in your system.

Yes it is an Dell OptiPlex 980 😀 The fat one xD just so you know.

The Dell 255W is their high efficiency "EPA" replacement for the 70% efficient 305W. Should be OK.
