Dear community,

I've been struggling these past days on deciding what to get between a GTX 750 ti or a Radeon R7 260x. Considering my CPU is AMD all signs point to the R7 260x, but I've been thinking that most games go well with Nvidia. What do you guys think? Will gaming quality drop without all the Nvidia technologies (PhysX and such)?

Your CPU won't matter - either will run fine with it. The GTX 750 Ti is about 10% faster than an R7 260X. Its also usually more expensive. PhysX is kind of situational with a lower mid range card like the 750 (in some games its too demanding for it and best left off - in others its fine).

I've heard people say that AMD CPUs work better with Radeon GPUs, so I thought that the R7 would run better. Also it seems that on paper the R7 is quite faster than the GTX (by gigabyte). Any thoughts on that?

You need to look at review. In general they go like this R7 256 > GTX750Ti > R7260X. Among the three 750Ti is the most power efficient. If power supply is not a problem then just go with the card that give you the most performance.
