Ok so I just upgraded from a 9500 GT to a GTX 750 Ti and when I go to start up my PC my monitor will just blink on and off over and over again, Anyone can help me with this issue? Thanks

Solution
Yes, I'd think so. Unless the refresh rate is wrong. If you can use the tv as the main display WITH the monitor connected too, you can check the display properties and see if the frequency of the refresh rate is wrong for the monitor. That's a long shot though. More likely than not it's a faulty monitor. Especially since it doesn't do it with the tv and it DOES do it regardless of which output you use.
Well, the 9500 GT didn't require any additional 6 pin PCI power, but most likely the 750 TI does. There are a couple of 750 TI models that don't require additional power couplers but most of them do. Do you have one connected? What is the brand and model number of your power supply and your GPU?

Ok. So what I think the problem is , I do not have power to the CPU? Maybe just the fan? The one connector I do not have connected from the PSU is the "CPU" one but that is because I do not have an 8 pin slot on my mobo, So I am thinking maybe the 4 pin "P7" connector is for the CPU and not the Floppy drive that I have unconnected still from the last PSU? So my question. "Can I use half of the 8 pin "CPU" connector from the new psu? shifted to one side?"

Ok so fixed the power problems my pc is on and running fine except It is flashing flickers on then off on then off over and over I can see my desktop move my mouse and see it in a new place between blinks so any ideas?

If your motherboard has only a four pin connector by the CPU, then yes, you use half of the 4+4 connector coming from the PSU. What floppy drive? Your unit has a floppy drive? How goddamn old is this thing? Heh. Just kidding, but also serious. If it looks like this it goes to the motherboard socket near the CPU and it doesn't matter WHICH half you plug in, as long as you do. What is the model number of your motherboard?

Yeah, maybe boot into safe mode and see if it's better. If you can at least SEE what's going on, install the GPU drivers. Not too sure what you mean by blinking off and on but it's likely a setting. Does it only do it in windows or does it do it during boot and in the BIOS? Try going into the BIOS and resetting to default or optimal settings.
