Im looking to upgrade my gpu from a gtx 750 ti to an gtx 960. Do you think thats a good idea and if so, will there be a significant difference?

Solution
The 960 is a large amount faster. The 750 ti will play modern games on med/high settings while the gtx 960 will max out 90% of the games out there. You will notice quite a large difference.
They are very similar for the price, 960 is not to shabby but from the 750ti its like a 17.285% boost not worth it

I'd say it's a decent investment. Could easily sell the card for a bit still to go towards a 960. I even thought about upgrading a 760 to a 960 for a while as the benchmarks are quite a bit better. Obviously, I'm going to wait for a 970 but still...

Not sure if you already made this decision... however this is the situation i was in too. i bought the 750 ti before the 960 came out (at least i thought it wasnt out at the time).

i only have a 460w PSU (dell) and dont want to deal with upgrading it (i know alot of people wouldnt like that), so i was limited to my gpu choice. the 750 ti only runs warcraft at medium with 60 fps constant, from benchmarks ive seen, the 960 will run it at ultra ith 60 fps. Plus i sold my 750 ti on ebay for 100 bucks and i only paid 100 😀
