I am looking into getting a new graphics card, I have been looking at the gtx 750ti or the gtx 1050. My question is which one has the best bang for buck. Unfortunately due to the size of my case I am restricted to a compact card. My currently graphics card is the gtx 550ti so, both cards will be a significant upgrade.

Also vote for the 1050. Basically, it has the same power requirement as the 750Ti (i.e. only draws its 75W from the PCIe slot, no PCie power connectors needed), but it has more VRAM, is newer, & performs better. No contest, especially if they're close to the same price.

For starters the 1050 has[strike] 70%[/strike] faster performance than the 750ti. The 1050 is obviously newer, so it will most likely last longer and have better support with new games. It all depends on what you'll be using it for and how much you can find each one for.
EDIT: I was apparently looking at the 1050ti specifications. The 1050 still has better performance, especially in games like BF1, where it gets almost 2x as much fps than the 750ti. In normal games I would say that the performance would be somewhere between 50% and 100% faster than the 750ti.
