I just bought the OC version I know i wont get a dramatic diffrence in fps in gaming but will i at least get a 4-5 fps boost in games like shadow of mordor and witcher 3? (playing games at 1080p and med-high settings)

you won't be playing TW3 with a 750ti at 1080p... probably not shadow of mordor either.

TW3 requires atleast a GTX 960; and shadow of mordor requires a min of 3gb of vram; which really limits your choice of gpus.

a gtx970 will play both in 1080p. a 960 will manage (60fps) in 900p. on the amd side the r9-280x will probably manage both fairly well with some tinkering at 1080p, it won't be maxed but it will be something playable.

we must live in different worlds... just because the recommendations for a game are high doesn't mean you need exactly what they say, I have a i3 2100 and a gtx 750 ti oc running witcher 3 at 1080p at med to high settings at 35-30 fps and shadow of mordor at high with 40 fps my friend uploads videos of his gtx 750 ti to and his PENTIUM running these games and more at 50 to 30 fps... here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UdDQekYBS9M

Tell you what. i'm just gonna walk away from this thread now before i repost my prior post. i was accurate in what i wrote, if you read it you'll see what standard i was talking about; i should have specified specifically i meant 1080p.

-and no, i don't consider 720p upscaled to 1080p on a youtube video "1080p"; nor do i consider "medium" to be high or maxed, nor do i consider 30fps playable.

I can vouch for TW3 and Shadow of Mordor running at 1080p, as well as most any other current games available. Will you be running absolute Ultra settings? Not if you want at least 30fps.

It can handle "default" Medium settings for most games at 1080p easily. Best thing to do is to mix the settings up between High/Ultra with some Medium/Low. Paired with a decent quad core CPU, it will match or exceed PS4 visuals most of the time.
