Hey! I was thinking of grabbing a 750TI, but the issue is is that my power supply is a generic, stock pre-built PC one. http://s17.postimg.org/5y3m5c25r/Ac_Bel_HBA008_ZA1_GT_350.jpg That is a picture of the power supply's sticker, would it be enough to handle a 750TI, and could you link me to one that's on Amazon, preferably, with the best performance for my PSU? If it wouldn't work, what are some cheap alternative PSUs? Thanks for the help!

Solution
There is no way to know if it will or won't work. It is a gamble and it's your choice to take that risk or not. Just like we are not sure what will happen if it won't work. Will it gracefully shut off from a protection, will it have unstable voltage regulation or ripple that causes hardware problems and possibly damage, or will it catch fire? Those are the only three things that can happen, and hopefully it is the first. Most people in generally say anything is fine with a 750Ti, but you never know with some of these PSUs, and I'd always recommend to upgrade just to be safe than take the risks. But that is your independent choice.

Whoa, thanks for the quick reply! So is it basically guaranteed to not work, is what you're saying? I'm kinda confused by the 3 options you gave, but I appreciate the response regardless!

It's just we don't have information about this power supply. There are a lot of PSUs that are tested by professional reviewers, but power supplies like this, Acbel, are generally considered to be very crappy. They are cheap and are generally unknown, which makes them "use at your own risk". Anybody who straight up tells you it will work or not is wrong because there is no evidence to back that up. A 750Ti is another 75W of load on that PSU, so who knows what it could do.

If you were to get a new PSU, what would you be willing to spend? The EVGA unit above is probably the best $30 unit, though it still is not the most reliable unit (hence the price) but at least has been tested by professionals and is certified to work well. Should last you a few years.

If your power supply can meet the specifications on the sticker, it should be OK.
Saying that, supplies like this often don't meet spec.
The other thing to check is the length and height specifications on the graphics card you choose and make sure they will fit in your case.

This one is cheap and small:

If you are looking at replacing the power supply, these are great value:

Rail distribution plays a role, though. I would assume that the 12V rail separates the 24-pin ATX cable and the CPU cable, but you never know sometimes.

I appreciate the options here! I'm just trying to find the cheapest one with 2 day shipping available, currently, and one that can fit inside my computer. I'm pretty sure power supplies have a standard size, so I'm not worried about that, but the 750TI, I am slightly. http://imgur.com/JO6d7a7 is a picture of the inside my computer, for whatever help it is, and I have an Asus M11BB. It might be wishful thinking to hope you could help me see if one of these could fit in, but does it seem like https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IDG3IDO/ref=psdc_284822_t1_B00M27TSJS would? Thanks!

Off topic, but I really regret buying a pre-built. If only I had money to replace the entire thing.

That 750Ti should easily fit in there without a problem, no worries. If you want to make sure your PSU is a standard size and not some custom size you sometimes find in prebuilt computers, measure the width and height (not depth) with a ruler. Height (the shortest length on a PSU) should be 86mm and width should be 150mm.

Power for this card is drawn through the PCI-E slot, so as long as the distribution on the motherboard connections is sensible it should be fine.
You'll only run into problems if the CPU and GPU end up entirely on the same rail, or if the PSU can't meet spec.

Thank you so much for all the help! The dimensions are about 5 mm off for width and 5 mm off for height, but it looks like there's plenty of additional room for such a minor discrepancy, would that work fine for a standard sized PSU? If so, I'll probably be grabbing a new PSU and GPU courtesy of you guys's help, so thank you so much!

This is another relatively small card. The Asus design is much bigger.
You will need to measure the available space in your case.
It is an overclocked card, so will push your PSU a little harder.

Probably just measuring error tolerance, seems like it is a standard PSU size. What is the actual model of your PSU? Also, what is your prebuilt computer (i.e. Dell, HP, etc.?)

The PSU is an AcBel HBA008-ZA1GT 350, and the computer I have is an Asus M11BB. The PSU I'm going for is https://www.amazon.com/Seasonic-S12II-430-BRONZE-SS-430GB/dp/B002A17OG0/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1466302856&sr=1-1-fkmr0&keywords=seasonic%20s12g%20430&tag=viglink20237-20or https://www.amazon.com/XFX-Wired-Bronze-Power-Supply/dp/B004RJ8EKI/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1466302615&sr=1-1&keywords=xfx%20550&tag=viglink20237-20 , not really sure which I want to grab.

The XFX TS 550 and the Seasonic S12ii 430 are practically the same PSU (literally; they have the same platform inside if I am correct, both are made by Seasonic and are very similar). I'd just get the S12ii 430W, it is cheaper.

Also, your PSU is a standard size from what I see.
