[SOLVED] GTX 750Ti Showing as Microsoft Basic Display Adapter

So I lent my friend my GPU for a couple of months. It worked fine for me before and worked fine for him too. Now when I installed ti back to my pc it refuses to get recognized- code 31. I tried DDU with no success. GPU-Z displays a couple of details like brand name and device id, but is recognizing it too as microsoft basic display adapter. I dont know what to do now. Can provide any needed files and details. Thanks a lot!

latest certification for your gpu is for win 10 1809
so u may need to downgrade your windows build

Installed win 10 1809. Graphics card still shows up as microsoft basic display adapter.

if u still get code 31 after windows install, then gpu is broken
