GTX 760 idling while playing Minecraft

My GTX 760 runs Minecraft well but it drops lots of frames when I watch a 60fps stream on the other monitor. My GPU is in idle mode and is barely being used while my CPU is at about 50% usage. My GPU doesn't seem to ramp up to incorporate the stream. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Which build of Minecraft are you using?
Minecraft is a heavily cpu dependant game and my gpu hardly gets used at all. As for streaming, it's also mostly cpu dependant.
It's not a gpu problem. You can try updating your Nvidia driver, and also look in your driver settings as your gpu can be used to assist in streaming and enhancing video quality.

As for minecraft, the loss of frames is most likely due to Minecraft's coding. Although why would you play Minecraft and watch a stream ?
