GTX 760 or GTX 780

I am wondering whether I should get the gtx 760 or the gtx 780, because I the 760 seems to be much less expensive than the 780. Is the gtx 780 so expensive because its one of the more new graphics cards out there? Would I get more bang for my buck purchasing the gtx 760 than the 780?

The 760 is plainly a weaker card than a 780. Hence the 80>60.
It would be worth the price in my opinion, as it is a good 20+% higher performance wise.

Just get a gtx 770. Its somewhere in the middle and it performs like a beast

Thankyou. My last question is what power supply would you recommend to support the gtx 770 and the amd fx 8350 eight core processor?
On geforce.com in the specifications section it says that the gtx 770's minimum power requirments are 600 watts and I at the moment have a 650 watt power supply

Well the minimum for the gtx 770 is yes 600w but you also need atleast 42 amps in the 12v rail. I like to future proof myself with Powersupplies so i went ahead and bought the corsair hx 850. Really cheap and im sli ready

Their recommendations are much of an overstatement. My 7750 "requires" 500 watts, but my system total draws around 350-400 at load.
So as long as it is a quality powersupply, it will be perfect.
