With the release of the GTX 760 I became a little bit unsure. At first, I wanted to get a 7870 from sapphire which imo is a great card for the price but now that the gtx 760 is so close in the price range i'm struggling between these two. Is the gtx 760 worth the 45$ difference? Which one should i get and why?

oh yes definitely.

also try getting asus direct cu II model for the gtx760. Superb cooling and awesome design

Isn't the msi twin frozer better it's getting very good reviews and the core/boost clock is higher then the asus one

oh yes can't argue on that one. MSI usually has the best overclocking/overvolting support in theory. However, its not as quiet as the direct cu II for starter. Asus OC isn't as popular as msi but Asus cards also overclock really well. I have had the direct cu II cards for the past 2 years. My gtx 580 used to hit 985mhz on core clock and my gtx670 hits 1346mhz which far out surpasses most MSI PE gtx670s. I reckon Asus doesn't advertise their OC as much as MSI hence a little underrated.

from what I've seen the msi one is already cooler a little bit cooler and 16db! less noisy(compared to the gtx evga 760 acx). Do you have an asus review?

I just gave in and ordered the Gigabyte Windforce GTX 760 OC myself. It was $259 CAD with free shipping. I couldn't resist, even though I'm confused as hell with all the conflicting reviews lol. This card seems like it will OC well.

All that matters is that you bought a windforce. That cooler is amazing
