I just bought a gtx 760 for my i5 3330 setup and i have a 500watt Antec power supply is that enough because i dont have that much more money for this build and i wanted to add another hard drive. also will i get good performance with a gtx 760 and an i5 3330? One last question my evga wont work in my pc but other companies like xfx and zotac work why is that? thank you for all the help!

Solution
500 watt is the minimum for the 760 so you are fine and chances are the power supply you are using isn't giving enough power to run the evga but can run the others. that being said if you can upgrade your power supply, you should

yes an antec 500 will be fine. commonly a non OC'd i5 will use ~100 watts (that's if you don't have like 100 fans) and a GTX 760 will use 160 - 170 watts. so you'll be under 300 watts total.

i have no idea why you are experiencing problems with an evga card; if its a reference design there is hardly any difference between vendors.
