gtx 760 sc vs r270x

4 GB of VRAM on an R7 270X is a waste of money. The 270X GPU doesn't have the horsepower to game with the settings/resolution where > 2 GB of VRAM might see some use. Unless your performance is actually limited by VRAM capacity, having 4 GB won't help you.

The GTX 760 when overclocked is probably faster than the GTX 670; it definitely cannot catch the 680. It sounds like you may be confusing it with the 770.

At a baseline the GTX 760 is faster than the 270X, and also more expensive. If you want to pay the extra, the 760 is the clearly better card.

my budget on the card is 150-250 here is my build so far but based on what you guys said I think I should go with the 760 super clocked http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3Krxa
