Hello people, I'm new here and I'm caught in a serious predicament.
So I have a GTX 760 and I've had it for nearly 3 years now and I don't feel like it's giving me the performance I desire anymore. My budget is anything around 250$. Here are my current specs:
Processor: i7 4770k
GPU: GTX 760 OEM
RAM: 16GB DDR3 RAM
MOBO: Asus Z-97 A
PSU: 850 Watt Antec HCG
I have the idea of going 2-Way SLI but I'm asking a well built community for their opinion just in case there's a better alternative. :) Thanks in advance!

So you think this is better than picking up another GTX 760 for ~100$ and just doing SLI?

You may get the same or better fps using dual 760s, but I doubt it will be as smooth and stutter-free as a single GTX 480 or GTX 1060. Both new cards alone are capable of maxing out settings at 1080p/60 Hz.
Besides, 2GB VRAM isn't really enough to max out today's top games. My personal choice would be for one of those single cards.
