GTX 760 vs R9 270x for new build!

I've been looking for a graphics card but can't decide between the 760 and 270x, they are the same in price but what are the benefits of one over the other in terms of features and fps? Thank you in advance!

What about a GTX 770 vs R9 280x ? Also looking at the price difference?
