So I'm going to build a computer in June but I won't add the GPU already mainly because of money but I will add it in the following months. The build will have an i5 4670k and a Z87-A board in a Zalman Z3 Plus case.

I will be gaming at 1920x1080 and right now on a single monitor but I might get a 2nd one.

So from what I've been looking, since I can't spend all that much on a GPU, I've narrowed it down to these 3:

-GTX 760
-R9 270X
-HD 7870

So which would be the best and which version of it would be the best bang for buck?

I think the last post bugged because it selected and answer as the solution and I didn't even chose it so, here it goes again

Yes, I'll definitely go for R9 270X, 2GB card for 1080p and 4GB if resolution is higher than 1080p (like 2560x1440) but usually they are not worth the money :)

Thanks for the fast reply and as I said I won't buy the GPU right now so the sales aren't that interesting right now plus I live in Europe so I won't be going for USA shops x)

Btw from what I've seen the GTX 760 and the 270X are really similar, why do you say that the 760 is better? Just trying to choose carefully x)
So, basically MSI GTX 760 2GB TWIN FROZR vs MSI R9 270X Gaming Edition 2GB, which one and why? :b

GTX-760 would be slightly faster than R9 270X but if the price difference is like 10$ higher on GTX-760 I would go for GTX-760 but if the price is 60~70$ higher I would go for R9 270X, nVidia GPU's have much less headache with their divers also nVidia has "Shadowplay" option on their video card which is awesome compared to "Fraps".

So you'd go for the R9 270X if there is a big difference in price between them right? so as of now, here in Portugal, the R9 270X is going for 188€ which is ~260$ and the GTX 760 is going for 238€ which is around 329$ so you'd go for the R9 270X right?
I might get lucky and catch a sale or something, otherwise I'll probably go for the 270X then, thanks :)
and what's the difference between the 2GB and the 4GB one? is it worth it? it goes for 213€ (~294$), a 30$-35$ difference compared to the 2GB 270X
