Gtx. 760 vs r9 270x

Both cards will be in the same build which is
Fx 6300 non over clocked
Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3
Corsair 600w for r9 and 550w for gtx
8 gb ram

The r9 270x build comes £25 cheaper. They should last one year with no replacements and play games like the new cod on high, battlefield hard line on high and rome 2 total war on very high. Thank you.

Btw will be playing at 720p gaming and have a tightish budget

I would go with the MSI r9 270x. Playing BF4 at 1080p on ultra you can get about 30fps.

r9 270X is AMD's counterpart to the gtx 760 so unless you don't care for the brand or don't want NVidia's nice features then the r9 270X is the way to go.

The GTX 760 is stronger, but ofc more expensive. The R9 270X is midway between a GTX 660 and GTX 760.
The GTX 760 itself is more of a midway point between the R9 270X and the R9 280X.

Personally I think the GTX 760 is more on par with the 280 rather than the 270X , The GTX 760 is much more expensive than the 270x and for its price you can get a 280X

Both will give you stellar performance gaming at 720p for a very long time. If your budget is very limited, the 270x is the winner as long as you don't need or want to take advantage of any Nvidia only technologies.
The 760 is a step above the 270x, falling somewhere in between the R9-280 and R9-280x.
