gtx 760m and 1080p@144Hz

I have a laptop with Geforce GTx760M and it have VGA and from what I found out online HDMI v1.4a I was unable to find exact limits of resolution and refrest rate combo which it supports, some posts says that it doesn't even support 1080p at 120Hz, but maybe at least it does 1080p 75Hz or so? Or maybe I could use adapter to connect displayport or dvi monitor cable to my hdmi port and somehow bypass something and get at least 1080p 120hz or better yet 144hz?

I dont think that an adapter will help you cuz if HDMI doesnt supports 120hz then an adapter from hdmi wont help either.
