Hi everyone.

I wanted recommendations on good aftermarket GPU coolers (non water cooling please) for my gtx 770. The card is beautiful but, the greatest flaw it's the factory cooler, which is EVGA ACX. I got mine exchanged 2 times already... getting the same results and sadly, I haven't been the only customer with this problem.

Fan ratting noise or so seems at first glimpse however, behind scenes is no other than factory fins that are badly assembled. Workarounds suggest to fix it with a tip of paper on these little bastards to tight them up. I find this solution quite Anti Aesthetic, not to mention dangerous to my hardware considering that I will be voiding my warranty in the process.

Any suggestions of aftermarket coolers for this beauty will be greatly appreciated. The specs are EVGA GeForce GTX770 SuperClocked with EVGA ACX Cooler, 2GB GDDR5 256bit, DL DVI-I, DVI-D, HDMI, DP, SLI Ready.

Thank you for your time.

Arctic Accelero Extreme IV (or III) is likely the best GPU cooler in the world, 2 slots, extremely quiet and efficient. Also, I'm pretty sure that EVGA doesn't void warranty for changing cooler, as long as it's send for RMA with original installed back.

Thank you guys. I made up my mind and I will go with Artic AE IV. I won't be needing any extra slots anyway so I am ok with it. Rather do this than dealing with a crappy and annoying Evga ACX.

Slapping an NZXT G10 bracket and an h50-h60 is a great option that doesn't use a lot of slot space.

I used a similar method with a kit from Arctic (The new one apparently has some fitting issues with its full cover VRM cooler. Mine came with individual sinks for the VRM and RAM, actually kept most of the DCUII hardware on mine, including the backplate, and added sinks to the RAM.
