Hello, so im thinking to upgrade my pc so i can play games.

CPU - AMD A6-6400k
Motherboard - Gigabyte technology F2A78M-HD2
Graphic Card - AMD Radeon HD 8470D

so my question is can I apply GTX 770 and AMD Athlon X4 880K for my pc ? and if i cant can someone help me to choose good cpu and gpu for for my pc

Apparently that motherboard came in FM2 and FM2+ socket varieties. Since you have a FM2 APU, you may have the FM2 socket. If so, you can't use the FM2+ 880K. In that case you'd have to find a X4 7xx CPU. Also which revision of that board do you have? It should be printed on the board near the expansion slots.

Alternative route I have seen other posters recommending:

Instead of buying the AMD Athlon X4 880K, you can disable the intergratedGPU (iGPU) in your APU, and overclock the APU to max.; then save for the barebones of a new system.
