GTX 770 and G41mCombo (775 Socket)

Greetings folks,

Simple question,could GTX 770 work on 775 socket?

Other components are Xeon 5450 and 8GB of Ram. Thank you in advance.

The GTX 770 is a PCI Express card, not a CPU. A CPU goes in the 775 socket. The GPU goes into the PCI Express slot of your motherboard. But yes, it will fit.

My bad,i'm not that advanced for computer hardware. What about PSU,could you suggest good buget one for running 770,because now my 550W would not be enough i think.

Do you know exact brand and model of your PSU? It might be good, though for the GTX 770 a 600 watts PSU is recommended. But a 550 might be enough if it is of decent quality. Otherwise you could consider these models:

It says " LC 6550" V1.3 (ATX12V 1.3 Switching power supply).

The recommended PSU usage for a GTX 770 requires a PSU that can provide 42 amps on the 12 volt line, and your PSU is too low wih 19 amps. You will definitely need a new PSU.
