I have a new MSI GTX 770. When I first turn on my computer, or if I start a game that makes the monitor seem to turn off for a split second, the image on my monitor appears washed out. When I go to the NVIDIA Control Panel, adjusting the Digital vibrance or Hue, even just a little bit, makes the image jump back to how it's supposed to be. Any idea why it turns on kind of washed out? I've got an ASUS monitor. . . can't remember the exact model number.

Thanks!

The colors only get washed out when I start up a game, though. On the desktop, then I can minimize the game and change the digital vibrance, and the color will snap back. But when I maximize the game, the colors are back to being washed out. Interestingly, if I choose the "Run in Window" option on a game, then the monitor never does its "flashy" thing, and the colors don't turn washed out.
