Hi everyone. I was planning to buy a gtx 970. But recently I changed my mind to buy a gtx 770 with a thrust master gaming wheel....
But I heard that nvidia had discontinued gtx 770. So I want to know whether they still release drivers for gtx 770 in future...
Please reply as soon as possible and thanks in advance.

Fair enough; I was generalizing from other possible products. Also, the fact the 770 is $100 less now does not change the fact it was originally a $350 card. In the end, I still think you got a good deal, specially for mostly racing games that do not require the extra power of the 970. Anyway, that's beyond the point of this thread :p

Given that their latest drivers support graphics cards from 2007, and they still have legacy drivers beyond that, I would not worry. They discontinue cards yearly when the new series comes out; it's nothing to worry about.

If we're getting a wheel, though, we're likely playing racing games, where the bottleneck tends to be more on the CPU, and even a 770 tends to be enough to run 5760x1080p well. Plus, a good wheel setup costs over $200, so getting a $350 card (the 970) for a similar price to a $350 card (the 770 on launch) plus a $200 wheel sounds like a good deal to me.

Yea I free that gtx 970 is powerful. But it still creeps me about the artifact issue. I have not heard of an artifact issue in gtx 970, but still I am afraid.
Both the gfx card are zotac brand and PSU is sea sonic 650w 80+ gold certified. CPU is core i7 4790/4770k. Everything will be in stock speed( no overclocking forever)

My budget is 77000 INR (around 1300$) the setup you are telling is surely to blow my pockets. The steering wheel I selected is 4000 INR (around 50$) its a thrust master Ferrari edition(also the one which comes with transmission)
Moreover gtx 770 is 100$ less than gtx 970. Also I don't play graphic intensive games often.
