hello guys so finally im done building my first gaming pc

spec :-
Mobo - Asus M5A97 R20
CPU - FX 6300
GPU - MSI gaming GTX 770 2GB
PSU - Antec VP650P V2
HDD - 1TB WD Blue
Ram - 4Gb (soon i will upgrade to 8 )
so now i tried to connect my hdtv using sony hdmi cable but tv says no signal :( then i connected my old monitor using VGA and installed win 8.1 and then i intalled drivers -

1- nvidia latest driver (reboot)
2- asus bios , audio , lan , sata , cheapset , (reboot)

now i tried to run Blacklight Retribution (all maxed out) i see GPU usage not reaching more than 40% and still im getting 140-60 fps but game lags stutter each 5-7 secs :( its so annoying then i tried to insatll older driver (i tried 340.43 , 335.23) clean install and still same problem :(
other games working well like Tomb Raider all maxed out min - 10fps max-90 avg- 70 , nfs rival maxed out 30 fps locked no lag , batman arkham city maxed - no lag 50-60 fps

so i have 2 problems BLR lagging sttutring :'( ( i see peoples with same gpu running well on youtube) , i cant connect my HDTV using HDMI cable always it says no signal ..

Please help please...
Thanks.

What % usage is your CPU at when your GPU is at 40%? An FX6300 is pretty weak compared to a GTX770 and it'll show more on multiplayer games.

Also for the TV, you may just need to set up both displays to begin with and see if it's recognizing the TV through the HDMI(by using the regular monitor to look).

no its not recognizing at all .. i tried is my card is faulty ? or what o_O
and cpu usage 50-70 like i said im getting 100+ fps but game stuttering so much...

The HDMI issue sounds like it might be faulty or a driver issue. The TV should show up under "Set up multiple displays" in the control panel. Since it's a new MB and GPU and you used the latest drivers I would suspect there might be something wrong with the card.

Also, what's your ping? Are you positive that the stuttering is related to fps and not to your internet?
