GTX 770 not displaying video

Hello all! I just recently purchased an Nvidia GTX 770 (Gigabyte Windforce 3x OC edition) and got it installed, but I get no video output. Everything seems to be powering up just fine, ie, all of the fans are running as they should, but I get nothing coming out from the card. I have updated the BIOS on my motherboard to the most recent version, I have a strong enough power supply, and the system was recently running a radeon 7950 in it. I made sure to delete any instance of amd drivers that I could find before installing the card.

Any help is appreciated in advance, thanks!

System specs are:
Intel i5 3570k
AsRock z77 OC Formula
24gb ram
Coolermaster mpower 720w
Nvidia GTX 770

I did make sure to plug in both PCIe cables, and I thought it might be a bad card, so I actually returned the first card and got a new one, but got the exact same issue. I didn't think it likely that I would get two cards back to back with the same issue, so I wanted to be absolutely sure before I returned the second card.

try these
1- clear cmos
2- use on stick of ram

i would also use led diagnoses on the motherboard or the debug one it always help to determine what causing the issue

That is a really strange issue with a board and CPU that is native PCIe ver 3.0 so it should simply work! I have seen somebody in here before have to change their BIOS to legacy mode to get a card (with Gigabyte card if I remember correctly) to work unless that is an option or gigabyte has some trick up their sleeve I am lost.

Already cleared the cmos, nothing on the dr. Debug. At one point, the vga led was on for about 10 minutes, but removing and reinstalling the card turned it off.

did you try 1 stick of ram ? ,if the gpu led light up then something going wrong sounds like compatibility issue either the ram with gpu or motherboard with gpu or you have doa gpu but lets try 1 stick of ram with gpu first see how things will go from there

Haven't been able to try the1 stick of ram, as I've now made my way to the bar, but it shouldn't be the motherboard, at least in terms of being an nvidia card. The ram is 16gb of crucial ballistix 1600mhz and 8gb Patriot Viper 1600mhz.

So, after having rma'd the card and getting a new one which also failed to work, and then another one, this time a PNY 4gb version.... same exact problem. I'm starting to think it's not an issue with the cards, but rather my pc. Any ideas?
