To the matter now... I have now MSI GTX 770 Gaming 2GB version GPU and i want to SLI it. The dilemma is between:
- MSI gaming (same as then one in my rig now)
- Gigabyte WF3 OC
- Asus DCUII OC
Rest of my rig:
FX-8320 OC'd to 4.4Ghz
8GB 1600Mhz
GA-990XA-ud3 rev. 3.0
Zalman Z9plus
PSU EVGA NEX750w Bronze80+
I'm satisfied with this MSI gaming card. I cracked up the fan profile a bit and the card top at 60-63C in BF3/4 Crysis 3...
Gigabyte Wf3 will fit my case and it will be tight. I checked that. Asus card is the lowest clocked but from what i saw on reviews Asus cards OC pretty high, and mostly they hit 1300mhz or at least 1250+.
My main concern is the temerature and the bottleneck if there will be such. Keep in mind that 990xa is PCI 2.0 and my mobo runs and double x8 on PCIe with SLI. So:
What do you guys think which gpu will give me lowest temps (consider i will make custm fan profile probably) with this MSI i have now?
And will I experience any kind of bottleneck with my CPU at 4.4ghz and this mobo at double x8 pcie?
