GTX 770 vs 970

So, currently I have a single 770 in my computer and I'm running three 1080p monitors and I noticed that I need some more performance. My 770 is a 4gb evga classified card. But Im wondering If I should get another 770 for the rig or if I should be getting rid of the 770, grabbing a 970 then waiting until I have the money to buy another 970 and just SLI to two 970s. I'm just really debating what I should do since I already have a 770 in the system. thanks!

getting a 970 would give you little improvement over your current card and imho would be too impractical compared to just getting another 770 to SLI.

Maybe wait for the 980ti to release, you should get a bigger performance boost.
