GTX 770 vs GTX 960 - Which would you recomend?

Short bit first:

So which would the gurus on here recommend and, if it's not too much trouble, why?
Option 1) MSI GTX 770 Twin Frozr 2GB

Option 2) Zotac GTX 960 4GB

Now the story:

We're crowd building a system for a friend as a early Christmas surprise and to save costs towards the core we're using donated GPUs, hence the reason for the odd mismatch. This all stemmed from her laptop not supporting Destiny 2 so we're hoping for good support on that. Since the laptop is literally falling apart on her, and she was looking to build a desktop we figure this was the best time to do it. Gaming wise, she's going to be playing Overwatch and Destiny 2 as the primary games. The monitors that are being bounced around are the Asus - VX238H or if we can swing it, the Asus - VG248QE. So nothing beyond 1080 gaming at this point. So I figured these two cards would be good contenders for the build.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Solution
I would second the 770 selection on this one. The 4gb vram on the 960 is not as impressive as the 770's performance. You really want a minimum of 2GB vram, which 770 has, so basically for current gaming, it'll work. but later im sure she'll find a way to upgrade.

I'd rather have the 4gb 960. In performance they are close enough that the idea of being able to use higher settings in certain games would be the difference for me. To a lesser extent, I also favor cards which use less power. That results in less heat and noise, which are two things I always try to keep to a minimum.
