What if I already have two 770m's in Sli. Is it worth replacing those for a 980m at $900 or is the performance difference not with it.

GTX980 vs 2xGTX770 depends a lot on the games. Compared to a SINGLE GTX770 (reference) it's 50% more powerful on average though I've seen 75% in a couple games.

So the GTX980 is going to beat the 2xGTX770 at times, and at other times it will be behind.

Thanks, so I think cost wise I'm better keeping the 770m sli for now, then waiting for the price to come down and then later going for an upgrade to dual 980m sli config.
