GTX 780 2-Way Sli VS 7990 CrossfireX (7970 Quad CrossfireX)?

I have been thinking about intensely, but I have a reason to pick one of the two choices.

Don't crossfire two 7990's. No driver's work with this and they simply won't play together nicely.

I agree. Do not do any sort of AMD quad-crossfire. It just doesn't work properly.

Dual SLI gtx 780's is definitely the way to go.

EDIT: Whoops didn't see this had already been marked as solved. I still agree regardless though.

The best would be a 4670K in an ASUS Hero motherboard overclocked. For some future proofing, you may want a 4770K, for more and more games are beginning to use hyperthreading.
