I'm wondering if you all think it would be worth it to trade in my gtx 780 classifieds for a pair of gtx 780 ti superclocked . I've enjoyed the classifieds, but I'm a little disappointed in them. I'm gaming at 1080 right now, but will soon be switching to 2560x1440 120hz this summer. If not the new 120hz, then I'll be switching to ips. I can't get my hands on a ti to try before I buy so I'm hoping someone here can lead me in the right direction. I'm not really interested in the ti classified. I'll be sticking with the 780 classifieds I have or switching to a couple ti superclocked. I've heard the extra cuda cores on the ti really helps at resolutions higher than 1080. Not really concerned about the money part. Does the ti really perform any better than the classified?

I had a 780 OC for about 2 weeks before I upgraded to a 780ti OC and even without benchmarks it was visually faster. Higher min/avg fps which is what it's all about. Do it, and you'll have no trouble selling your 780's.

I have a 2560x1440 monitor and two 780s SC. I have no issues pumping out high fps on benchmarks and games at that resolution. In all honesty the TIs would be overkill by most peoples standards, but if you have the money to burn they are better.
