GTX 780 DC2 OC running weak?

Hi everyone,

I just bought my 780 DC2 factory overclocked last night, and i'm extremely happy to have it in my PC. I played some games like AC4 and Planetside 2, but i'm sufffering lag and in Planetside 2, a lot of stuttering.

I did a Uniengine Heaven test and compared it to a benchmark with the exact same settings: http://www.ocaholic.ch/modules/smartsection/item.php?itemid=1019&page=6

These are my results:

I know it does not seem that bad in this benchmark but it becomes a big problem in games like AC4 and PS2.

I think it might be based on the fact that i'm using an 870 processor, and/or that i'm running it on a PCIE 2.0 slot. Any insight would be appreciated, I hope there's nothing wrong with my card!

its probably a CPU bottleneck, the 870 chipset is pretty old, now its the 970 and 990 chipsets that are AMD's latest stuff.
