Hey guys first post here,

I recently upgraded my PC by adding in a new Motherboard (ASUS Z170-E), CPU (i7-6700k) and RAM (Corsair CMK32GX 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) Vengeance LPX DDR4). I kept my old graphics card Geforce GTX 780.

I have tried to play some games primarily Rocket League and CoD: BO III, after a period of the time around 30 minutes or so the games freeze and I have to use task manager to shut it down, HWMonitor reports the top temp to be ~74 Degrees Celsius.

Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Solution
The numbers are good. Could you tell if it only shuts down during gaming? Do you get any artifacts while gaming? Have you Uninstalled and reinstall drivers?

Updated drivers, no longer freezes completely in Rocket League, sometiimes freezes for like a second (stutters) then plays the game like normal. Only the games freeze, doesn't freeze any other time. I then have to use task manager to close the games. I lowered the settings BF1 and it hasn't frozen yet.

Was playing rocket league, closed it using task manager. Then was able to play 3 games without an issue.
