[SOLVED] GTX 780 has no power connector onboard

Got a brand new shrink wrapped GTX 780 4GB PCIe Graphics card ... but it has no female connection for PSU Power.
So I tried installing it (without power) and PC wont boot. Anyone ever encounter such a GPU card?

GTX 780 with a VGA connector. LOL, that thing is fake! There are no 780s with VGA connector.
A real GTX 780 is 384bit with 3GB or 6GB VRAM. Not 128bit and 4GB.

There might have been some Chinese brands that did made a card like this with a VGA but there is very low probability this is one of them. The lack of the power connector suggests it's a fake.

Another indication is the box. It should also have the brand of the company that made the card, otherwise the founder's (or whatever it was called back then) from Nvidia would have the founder's cooling shroud.

I am sorry but you got a fake GPU. If possible return for a refund.

PCB looks like it's a GTS 450.

I wonder if it started life as a 730 -- There were 4GB versions of that card and a 3 converted to an 8 is pretty easy to do ...
