I recently bought an ASRock Phantom Gaming D RX 580 8 GB off Newegg to replace my GTX 780. Everything ran terribly. Ring of Elysium would crash in the lobby. Destiny 2 would give me like 20-30 frames and then crash with a broccoli error code. Far Cry 5 would play for a little on low settings but would crash at medium to high. The Anthem demo was unplayable (I know they had issues but my GTX 780 did great). I’m just wondering if you guys have any ideas why.

Asus P8P67 ws revolution
8 gb RAM

Thanks!

Oh and I was sure to uninstall everything Nvidia and I tried basically every single AMD driver.

Man everything I read said that the RX 580 would give me a significant boost. Plus I was hoping Freesync would help with the micro stuttering. Would a 1070TI be a significant upgrade to my 780?

Just rough cause my motherboard limits my cpu upgrade by quite a bit. Think the highest it supports is an i7-3770. So I'd have to do a motherboard, ram and cpu upgrade which will be more than I wanna spend right now.

Will I still be able to run games with my current setup but with a 1070-TI?

Same brother. I think I'm gonna RMA it, sell it, and pick up a 1070-TI from a buddy and just be done with it. Upgrade mobo, cpu and ram at Christmas or something.
