GTX 780- No Signal on screen

Hello all, I'm running into issues with installation of my new graphics card. I installed the card and booted the computer. Everything went fine and I update the driver directly from Geforce. The computer restarted, boots up, shows the motherboard company screen, and starts windows. However, it then goes to a blank screen sowing no signal. Should I revert to a previous driver or what is the solution?

It's a new build so there shouldn't be any conflicting drivers. I know the card works for sure because a friend's build runs it perfectly fine. Yes, I checked the cables. The 6-pin and 8-pin are firmly plugged in. The HDMI cable is secured at both the monitor and card. The PSU is a top tier 650W so it's not short on power.

Try firstly using the driver on the card's DVD. See if still the same.

Thank you for responding, alexoiu. I managed to figure it out though.

If anybody else is having these issues I would suggest:
1) Revert to on board graphics and install the driver.
2) Download DDU and boot into safe mode.
3) delete your previous drivers. Make sure to delete the on board driver as well! (I think this is where I think I messed up. I only deleted the amd and Nvidia drivers. I retried the problem and windows overwrites the Nvidia driver)
4) switch to the pci or peg setting in bios.
5) Just plug your display cord into the correct port and wait. My screen took 3-4 minutes the first time.
