GTX 780 on this PSU! HELP!

I'm trying to move my components to an itx build. I have an i7 4770k with a GTX 780 overclocked to 1,200MHz. I really want to buy the EVGA Hadron Air, it has a 500w GOLD certified PSU built in. Will my rig function without any problems?

Do you know the make and model of the PSU? Wattage alone (500W) and gold certified are not qualifications for whether or not the PSU is reliable and can run the card.

Apparently the PSU they ship with it is a good one, shouldn't have any problems running your system, Haswell is very low power draw.

The GTX 780 requires a 600w power supply, although I may recommend you buying a 750w so its not using all of the PSU.

You could run a GTX 780 in your system but it would have to be underclocked (opposite of overclocking). 500w will not be able to handle it sadly at stock speeds.

Had a 780 since launch, using it at 1163Mhz+memory overclock, 3570K at 4.5Ghz, 520w Seasonic PSU, all works. Provided the PSU with that case is actually up to snuff and its not just rumour (but with a 80+ Gold rating, I don't see that happening), it will work.
