So, I just received my new pc yesterday, here are the specs:
i5 4670k oc'd - 4.0
gigabyte GA-Z87HD3 mobo
gigabyte gtx 780
2x4gb corsair vengeance @ 1600
corsair hx650 v2 psu

I installed all of my programs and games just fine, I then went and loaded up BF3 and played for about 5mins, closed it, and opened up crysis 3, and that's when the problems started.
I played for about 3 minutes before getting a black screen with a repeating audio track (probably no more than 50ms long) from where I was last in the game.
The only thing I could do was to reset the pc, I since tried underclocking the gpu which didn't work. Temps are about 32c idle for the gpu, and 67 max under load.
Cpu never went above 60c
Funnily enough, This didn't happen in bf3, so I played for a bit longer and got a solid green screen with no audio this time, once again, only way to fix was to reset.

I have since left the pc to sit overnight and have reseated the gpu and cables.
I thought it might just be a problem with the games, so I tried to test using furmark, it made it about 1 minute into the burn in test before the same thing happened, this time I noticed that the fans sounded like they jumped to 100% just as the "black screen" problem happened.
Have since also tried my old gtx 555 and the onboard intel graphics and they both complete the furmark test just fine and never seem to have these problems, is this a fault with the gpu? A driver or compatibility issue? I need help!
