Alright well for Christmas i got my new GTX 780 and was happy to upgrade from my GTX 680 i had for a year. I had done research on it and stuff since the rumors began on it and was excited for it because i knew it would be very powerful.

I know i should be able to notice a FPS difference in very graphical games such as farcry 3 but its not showing it.... (Keep in mind i have not overclocked this one other than the slight overclock that the Asus OC version comes with.) When i run benchmarks such as cine bench 64 bit (which i have of course) and 3D mark 11 my scores are lower than those when i had my GTX 680. I have not changed my CPU at all and it is still the same I5-3570K 3.4GHZ (which has been overclocked before but safely) I don't know what it is that is not getting the full performance that its supposed to have, i mean the card runs around 30C at idle and not sure when at load but i know heat isn't the issue. I used to run a single 1080P resolution with my 680 but now i run dual 720P's because i like the extra screen and ain't got another 1080 around but im pretty sure that would boost the scores not lower them. So if anyone can reply to this telling me why its acting the way it is or maybe just some kind of advice would be appreciated very much, thank you

Thermal-take MK-2 chasy
P8-Z77-VLK mother board
I5-3570K 3.4GHZ processor thats runs at about 30C at idle and roughly 55C while under 100% max load
Asus Direct CU 2 OC GTX 780 3GB
16GB of vengeance ram
Corsair HX850 watt power supply
Thermal-take water 2.0 pro water
1920X1080 monitor resolution (sometimes 2X 1680X1050)
1TB SATA 6GB/S

There should be an improvement, even crysis 3 max settings played smoothly on my 780 on a 1440 monitor. Have you shifted all the settings to ultra? Have you tried other games? Are you playing the games in dual screen mode?

As i said in my post the results have been lower across the boards in tests and in games, also turning the graphics up wont make the card run harder or better. Also the only thing ive considered from the reply is the fact of dual screens doing something to it but i took the other display away and only got a slight or minor improvment as i expected so still no clue whats doing it

When I was playing BF4 on 1 780 I was averaging 80-90 FPS on max settings. That should give you an idea where you should be at. All my other benchmarks would be with 2 780's so I couldn't really give you a good comparison

Yes i know that it should be running a lot faster but i don't know why it is running so slow is the reason i posted this thread, i need to know why or maybe if i have some kind of faulty card or something
