First of all i am building a system and i know it is much better than what i need but please dont judge.

So for the question: I am currently selecting a GPU and i concluded on the gtx 780.But i am sort of competing with a friend of mine and want to get more FPS than him while still having stable performance. He has a pretty powerful desktop;an asus cg8890.We are both using single 1920x1200 monitors.Question is i want to SLI 2 780s to out-FPS him but am not sure if they will be stable or not. Will they overheat?Do i need to do anything special to setup SLI?Will i be able to out-FPS him?And also which case would be good?(I am thinking NZXT Phantom)Thank you for your concern!

Hi - case shud be fine. You will need aftermarket cooling as well. But, you will need a quality
850w
PSU (with 2 6pin & 2 8pin pcie connectors) to run 2 780's in SLI.
