Gtx 780 SLI vs Radeon R90 290x Crossfire

I am thinking about getting a new triple monitor gaming setup soon and I want to know which one of these can run three 1080p monitors better.

R9 290x crossfire... cheaper and works like a beast.

If the money is not an issue for you, GTX 780ti SLI (make sure it is TI) you can't compare GTX780 with R9 290x

r9 290x for sure it have more vram so it would not struggle in bigger resolutions plus its also faster than gtx 780 .

vram depends on the model you buy and isnt only to do with amd vs nvidia

Yes it doesn't but r9 290x is much better than gtx 780 more vram or not but now the gtx 970 and 980 has been released i would prefer to go with them they are really good cards at resonable price and low TDP.
