gtx 780 temperature

im using gtx 780 acx sc and iwanna know if my temperature
are ok or no
34 idle 73 load

More than ok...Start worrying at 90C +.

if it goes above 85.
then just decrease the graphics settings.
dont worry 73 is quite cool

How is that gonna improve temps?

Unless you decrease them into the ground when the CPU is the bottleneck. Which is not gonna be easy.

on low setting GPU usage will be decreased..
as a result temp will be lower.
as the GPU usgae is low

A GPU will always TRY to work at 90% +. Even if its generating 300000FPS...

So unless you transfer the bottleneck to the CPU, you will very rarely drop temps by lowering settings.

agreed that gpu usgae will be aove 90%.
but turn v sync on will help.
isn't it.
fps will limit to refresh rate of moniter,
and GPU usage will be lower...

Its not that simple. But the point is dropping settings will not lower temps to any significant degree.

More than OK, its close to room temp.
