Hey,

So as far as I'm aware, the 780 Ti supports DX12 but doesn't fully support all the features. What does this mean as far as performance? Does this mean the the 780 Ti won't really get any performance boosts from DX12? Does this mean that the 780 Ti won't be able to play games using DX12? Also I hear a lot that the 780 Ti is feature level 11_0, what does that mean? Also, I hear that DX12 will allow for split frame rendering so that the VRAM would be stacked in SLI, would that apply to the 780 Ti as well? Finally, I can get a GTX 780 Ti for $325, is that worth it? (I live in Canada so everything is more expensive). I know that the 780 Ti is more powerful than the GTX 970, but the GTX 970 from what I hear is a card that fully supports DX12, so what should I do? The GTX 970 is about $400 right now not including the 12% tax.

(sorry if this isn't in the right category)

780 ti will support dx12 by hardware simulation(software) and gtx 970 will support it by its hardware.
don't worry about dx 12 features also 780 ti and 970 are at the same level of performance and both will support dx12 just fine.
so get the cheapest

i'd rather get the 970. it will support feature level 12.1 , while 780ti will support 12.0 the performance gain will be definitely higher on the 970 on gpu - side. the cpu-side performance increase will be same. Both will be able to stack vram in SLI, but only if the game developers code for it, so don't expect instant stacked vram with win10.
The 970 has a much better tesselation unit, it's a lot more efficient, a lot more overclockable and has 3,5gb vram, while the 780ti has only 3gb.
