GTX 780 Ti compatible with my old motherboard?

Hi guys, I know I'm a noob asking this but just want to make sure before spending a lot of money:

Is the new graphics card GTX 780ti

(I got an AMD Radeon HD 6800 installed at the momoment which works perfectly but Im looking forward to replace it with a good nvidia card in order to be able to render in cinema4d with the octane engine.)

Does it have a PCIe slot? then yes! and yours has one , I am more worried about your PSU, what do you have?

Yes, It will work, that PSU has 62A on the 12V rail, and the 780ti only needs 42A, you are good!

yes that power supply is easily enough.

Not just PCI-E, X8 or X16 mode is preferable and you have those as Gigabyte States;
1 x PCI Express x16 slot, running at x16 (PCIEX16)

go for it!

sounds like a 'pure' drug rather then a graphics card, bud that's just a name, it's about the card!
