GTX 780 TI runs 80 degrees idle

So my GTX780 TI reference card is idleing lately at 70-80 degrees,
the idle temp used to be at around 40 degrees when i bought it new around 2 months ago

The card is not overclocked whatsoever
My CPU idles at around 34 degrees

Does anyone have an solution to my overheating problem?

what type of software did you use for monitoring the graphics card? check whether is it the monitoring software went haywire because there is no way that card on idle could reach 80c even with fan at 10%

I use MSI afterburner as software, and the card does actually feel hot

maybe your card have some power connection problem within its pcb or voltage prob in it. take it to service. dont game on it if not it might get too hot where it might damage your other component

Check with GPU-Z as well, temperature, reported fan speed and GPU load, if there's a high GPU load under idle conditions it's probable the system has been infected by a nasty.
