Like the title says, i have installed the latest nvidia driver for my GPU, wich should include everything for 3D vision, however when i try to setup the 3D vision trough the nvidia control panel the setup wizard tells me that i dont have the required driver installed.

Thanks alot in advance!

3D Vision USB Driver Does Not Get Installed
Issue
After installing the NVIDIA graphics driver, if the 3D Vision USB emitter was not
plugged in, the 3D Vision USB Controller driver does not get installed. If you plug in the
emitter after installing the driver, the indicator light on the emitter will flash red and will
not turn green.
Resolution
To fix this issue, NVIDIA recommends performing a driver re-install with the 3D Vision
USB emitter connected. Please download the latest drivers and follow these steps:
1 Plug in the 3D Vision USB emitter.
2 Re-install the NVIDIA driver.
Select Custom (Advanced) and then select Perform a clean Installation during the
driver installation.
3 Reboot.

Pulled from the release notes of the latest gtx 780 driver.

I have the same card and had the same issue with 3d vision. Eventually I got it to work. It was about 2 years ago so I don't recall the exact steps.

I think I basically ignored the setup wizard; Installed all the necessary drivers, enabled 3d vision in the Nvidia Control Panel, set the monitor refresh rate to 144Hz, and then toggled 3d vision on in the game. There's a keyboard combination for toggling it on/off.

Also, in the Nvidia Control Panel, once you enable 3d vision, there is a button to test the 3d vision, try that to see if it turns on and the light on the IR receiver glows bright green. Also, in Windows display properties, where you specify resolution, there should be a checkbox to enable stereoscopic 3d. Hopefully this will put you on the right track to get it working.

hey there,

thanks for the reply! but the thing is, i'm using WIRED glasses.
Wich should just be plug and play, right?
i have already tried re-installing but it did not help, i'm wondering if it's an issue with my GPU at this point ( wich i highly doubt). i just have no idea what more i could do to try and fix it. if you do, please tell me
edit: i have an orange light blinking non stop on my glasses wich means that they are charging

hey there, thanks for the reply. i have managed to turn on the stereoscopic 3d but, when i put on my glasses i see no difference opposed to wearing them :/

Can you post a link to the glasses you are using? The 3d vision set I have is wireless.

I don't think it makes any difference. Are you sure the flashing light isn't: the indicator light on the emitter will flash red?
