GTX 780 vs GTX 880

I have been in the market for a graphics card now for many months and hopefully this will be my last question about which one I should be getting. I've read a few things saying that the new Maxwell architecture in the new line of Nvidia cards is going to be a a pretty noticeable leap. I have almost enough as it stands to buy a 780 within the next week but I've heard rumors of the 880 coming out in March which if that really is the case then I would not be inclined to get a 780 if these performance increases are a big leap forward. Just wanted a few opinions on the matter. Also does anyone know the supposed price tag of the 880 and when aftermarket coolers would be available. I should have around $700-800 in March if that is the real release date of the card. Cheers and thanks in advance.

Don't know about the 880, but the 750 Ti is $225. It is higher than expected, and a little faster than the 660.

The 880 will not be released in March. More likely to be towards the end of 2014 at the earliest.

Logic says the release should be after CES 2014 (June) in order to satisfy the demand avoiding an excessive Out of Stock. I heard that apparently it will come with 8GB GDDR5 memory and a price around $750. But will see.
