GTX 780 with Thermaltake 750w

I want to install a EVGA GeForce GTX 780 SC ACX: http://www.evga.com/Products/Specs/GPU.aspx?pn=C811FD6B...

My single 8 pin +12v connector is being used for the mobo. Is this setup possible with adapters? I am very novice so please be gentle.

the video card requires one 8 pin and one 6 pin PCIE power connector. These are included in the power supply you have specified. As long as your 8 pin +6 pin PCI-E power connectors are free and are not being used, you can power that video card

You'll have to change your power supply, it can't support an 8-pin graphics card and the 780 needs it.
I recommend getting an EVGA Supernova 220 GS 650W.
