I finished my first build a few months ago and I am loving the evga dual acx superclocked 780ti I have. I'm wondering if, with the announcement of the 980 and with nvidia no longer manufacturing 780ti chips, if I can expect a significant price drop. I'm going to upgrade to 1440p soon once i get my hands on an ASUS ROG swift, and a second card bought cheaply to hit that 144 fps would be amazing. Aditionally, is my 750 watt psu going to run two OC'd 780ti's and an OC'd 4770k? Thank you all

Solution
the previous gen doesn't always drop in price. though we should see some deals soon enough, like said above, it might not be significant.

as for your 750w power supply, knowing the model would be nice, but im assuming from your 4770k+780ti setup, its very likely a decent model. 750w is cutting it close for sli 780ti's, but it should work fine. the overclocked 4770k isnt really pulling too much amps, maybe 12amps at best with a very high overclock in prime/ibt test... but the 780ti's can easily pull 25amps each, and much more if your models can be soft volt modded for a high overclock. basically you should want at least 62amps on your 12v rail, and that is cutting i very close, but again should work.
